MG Motor India sales up by 21% in H12023

 July 20, 2023: MG Motor, a British automobile brand with a 99-year-old legacy, today announced that it has sold over 29,000 vehicles during the first half of 2023 in India. The brand registered 21 per cent growth over 24000 units sold during the same period a year earlier. The launch of Next-Gen variant of India’s first internet SUV-MG Hector in January, and demand for company’s flagship EV-ZS, contributed significantly to the growth. The brand also registered its highest-ever retail sales of 6051 units in March 2023.

MG Motor sold 115,000 vehicles in the European market alone, a 143 percent year-on-year increase, while MG's NEVs accounted for over 50 percent of its total sales in the January-June period. MG's products and services are available in 28 European countries with more than 830 outlets throughout Europe. Monthly deliveries of MG in Europe have exceeded 20,000 units in a row for four consecutive months.

MG Motor recently announced its 5-year business roadmap to strengthen the business operations for sustainable growth and meaningful impact on the society in India.
