BYD e6 is powered by a 71.7 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery that offers a driving range of up to 520 km/charge in city conditions and an overall range of 415 km/charge. The 94 bhp electric motor on the MPV develops a peak torque of 180 NM and allows the car to reach a top speed of 130 km/h. The MPV comes with a 7 kW charger as standard and DC fast charging can juice up the battery from 30 per cent to 80 per cent in 35 minutes.
The MPV comes with features like an intelligent brake control system, dual-front airbags, six-way adjustable front seats, a 10.1-inch rotatable touchscreen, cabin air filter, etc. And as for practicality, the e6 has 580-litres of boot space. BYD e6 comes with a 3-year or 1.25 lakh km vehicle warranty, battery cell warranty of eight years or 5 lakh km, and traction motor warranty of eight years or 1.5 lakh km.
